Dear Parents,

Welcome back! We are all very excited for the new school year and look forward to sharing our days with your children.

We have a few new staff joining us this year. I’d like to introduce:

Cassandra Holliday – Resource and Methods Teacher

Nelia Collins - Counselor

Annelise Bliss – Speech Pathologist

Paul Guinea – 3^rd grade teacher (Mr. Guinea taught at East Orient several years ago and is returning to join us again)

Morgan Van Emmerik – subbing for Mandy Bhear through Winter Break

Also, Mrs. Hartman got married this summer and is now Mrs. Horner. 

Please feel free to stop in and meet them.

I’d also like to thank all of the volunteers from our community that came to the annual Community Care Day and worked very hard to clean up the landscape around our school. It looks beautiful. We are so fortunate to have such dedicated community members and we appreciate all that you do. A special “Thanks” to Mr. G for coming in on Saturday to work and help to guide the volunteers.

We’re off to a fantastic start of what will be a great year!
